When should I arrive?
The shop is typically unlocked 30-45 min prior to class for set up. Please arrive 10-15 min early to choose seats and settle in.
Please note, since the workshop is taught step by step, we cannot wait for late arrivals. Anyone arriving 10+ minutes after the start time will not be able to paint and will be considered a no show/no call and will not be issued a refund.
What do I need to bring?
You will need paper towels, baby wipes, and an apron to keep yourself and your work station/materials clean. If you need a disposable apron/paper towels/baby wipes they are available on site for cash purchase.
I had something unexpected come up, do you offer refunds?
Since some of our classes require canvas preparation, our cancelation policies are as follows. Please contact us at 724-433-2417 if an issue arises.
Cancelations up to 48 hours prior to the workshop will receive a full refund via Eventbrite to the card used to reserve tickets. Service fees may be non-refundable as per Eventbrite’s Policies.
Cancelations less than 48 hours before will receive future workshop credit, to reserve an available future spot, contact us to be put on the list and your seat reserved.
Cancelations that are a no show/no call situation without calling (not email/messenger as we will not be checking messages during set up) at least 1 hour prior to the workshop start time will not receive a refund or credit.
Can I use my phone/take photos during the workshop?
You are more than welcome to take photographs of anything in the shop, we do however ask that you do not video record.
Please check with other painters before taking their photos or posting their image on social medial.
Due to the nature of the class, noises can be a distraction, please silence all devices and take phone calls outside.
How old do I need to be to attend?
While Bob felt painting was something for all ages, due to the materials used (paint thinner and certain paints) all painters must be 14+ to participate.
Painters 12+ may paint if accompanied by a ticketed adult.
Do you have dedicated parking?
We have a small parking lot across the street from our shop. There is a larger parking area to the left of the telephone pole and a smaller area to the right of the telephone pole that is marked by our signs.
If you are coming with a friend and it’s possible to double park knowing you’ll be leaving together, it’s very much appreciated!
What is your food/drink policy?
We are a BYOB facility, you can bring any food/drink, please remember cups/plates/utensils as needed.
Can a friend come with me to keep me company, but not paint?
Unfortunately due to space constraints we are set up for 16 painters per workshop and cannot accommodate non-ticketed attendees.
Allergies
While we try to avoid any exposure to chemicals the Floral painting and Wildlife painting methods require a medium that contains Walnut Oil.
If this is an allergen concern or you, please reach out to us before class to determine if an alternate medium will work, of if you cannot be in the same room as it for health reasons.
